At St. Peter United (SPU) is a diverse and inclusive, faith community established in 1848. Although we are located in Houston, Texas our congregation is made of people all over the world. We practice radical hospitality and are committed to creating an empowering church home for all.

We believe that building a diverse community is an integral part of growing our faith. St. Peter United is proud of our denomination, the United Church of Christ (UCC). We are an “Open and Affirming” community for LGBTQ+ persons. Everyone belongs at St. Peter United, including people who consider themselves spiritual but not religious.
